This is where our travel adventure began — the very first guide I transformed from a stack of notes and stories I’d written for my own kids into a real book. I wanted them to actually connect with what we were seeing, not just tag along. That little idea grew into this book… and eventually, a whole travel series for curious young explorers everywhere.

Why I wrote it:
When our family started traveling, I realized most guidebooks were written for adults. This one was created for kids — to help them see the world with curiosity, humor, and heart. It helps turn “just another trip” into something they’ll actually remember (and talk about on the flight home).

It began as a project for my kids… and became a guide for families everywhere.
